Onyx, in collaboration with OKSI and Noble, will be presenting SENTRY during the Industry Nights at the annual Air Reserve Component (ARC) Weapons and Tactics Conference (WEPTAC) that will take place on the 16th and 17th of October, 2023, in Tucson, Arizona.
Hosted by the Air National Guard Air Force Reserve Command Test Center (AATC), the ARC WEPTAC is an ideal venue for the warfighter and industry to come together to identify critical capability shortfalls for ARC weapons systems, missions, and training priorities.
During the two Industry Nights, WEPTAC attendees will have the opportunity to see the SENTRY system and engage Onyx and OKSI leadership for open discussions about potential solutions to help address identified capability gaps.
SENTRY is our remote intelligent tactical sentry system. Developed in partnership with OKSI, SENTRY allows to autonomously scan, detect, classify, track, and report any threat for fast and effective tactical action. SENTRY comes in kinetic and ISR variants and may be deployed in an overwatch or terrain denial position to protect friendly forces.
The Kinetic variant of the SENTRY includes Onyx’s RAW-15 or RAW-10, remote-actuated weapon systems, which feature a modular remote-actuated lower receiver that accepts most upper receivers in inventory. It is capable of mounting to static or dynamic ground, air, and maritime platforms, enabling an operator-controlled remote kinetic action.
The ISR version of the SENTRY system gives the end user the ability to scan, detect, classify, track, and report any threat, but does not include the RAW component.
“We are thrilled to be part of the ARC WEPTAC this year and look forward to helping the warfighter address some of the capability gaps with our innovative defense technology solutions,” said Chris Klaftenegger, Onyx COO.
Onyx was founded by former special operators with decades of experience in the field. The company proudly serves the U.S. and allied military forces focused on operating in highly complex multi-domain environments.
