Onyx, in collaboration with Persistent Systems, an industry leader in mobile ad hoc (MANET) technology, and OKSI, showcased its SENTRY RWS intelligent remote weapon system during the SHOT Show 2024 that took place on January 23–26, 2024, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Attendees were able to take control of the SENTRY remote weapon system over the network from the Persistent Systems’ Rugged Display and Controller (RDC) on their kit and view the live feed from its optics.

Developed in partnership with OKSI, SENTRY is a multi-functional intelligent remote weapon system for the modern battlefield, providing automated target detection and recognition while keeping humans in the loop. The system comes in kinetic and ISR variants and may be deployed in an overwatch or terrain denial position to protect friendly forces.
