This week Onyx Industries, in partnership with SOAL Marine Group, is attending the 2023 Combat Diver Competition that is taking place on September 24-28, 2023, in Key West, FL.
Hosted by the Special Forces Underwater Operations (SFUWO) School, this event brings the best from USASOC, NSW, MARSOC, and AFSOC. Beyond the three-day diving trials, the spotlight will be on MAROPS CAPEX/Mod Demo and an enlightening SFUWO-led dialogue on ARSOF’s future in the Maritime Domain.
“We're thrilled to showcase our latest defense technologies tailored for both airborne and maritime environments,” said Chris Klaftenegger, Onyx COO.
The event attendees will be able to explore a range of Onyx innovative capabilities designed for special operators, such as RAM-T, FYNDER, and more.
Highly versatile, modular, and customizable, Onyx’s RAM-T, Rigged Alternate Method Tandem, is a smart modular air delivery solution. RAM-T is designed to allow the airdrop of a complete inflatable watercraft, including engine, fuel, and inflation system enclosed in one delivery. The versatile system is ideally suited for the deployment of Kraka boards, offering a comprehensive solution for remote deployments and emergency situations. Kraka boards are designed for operational work in critical and challenging situations at sea, where silence, low profile, accessibility, and agility are crucial for the mission's success.
Developed in collaboration with Kägwerks, the global leader in solutions for tactical operator-worn networking, FYNDER is the ultimate plug-and-play edge sensor of its kind. It is designed to enhance operational effectiveness by integrating intelligent mission-critical measurement sensors and mesh network interoperability across multi-domain operational environments. Its unified connectivity and intelligent technology enable real-time sensor data collection, processing, and reporting of single or multiple users simultaneously across multi-domain operational environments.
FYNDER seamlessly integrates with a variety of wearable devices, allowing it to collect a wide range of sensor data - including inertial measurement and multi-axis positioning, with ties into a variety of available biometric sensors. The FYNDER Base Station aggregates all measurement data to include ancillary battlefield sensors. The system boasts multiple Layer 2 connections to propagate data across any encrypted tactical IP network.
