Chris Klaftenegger is the CEO of Onyx Industries, where he’s responsible for driving growth and innovation in defense technologies. He’s expanded Onyx’s offerings with cutting-edge systems like SENTRY, FYNDER, NAUT, and RAM-T, leading teams to deliver innovative solutions for military and law enforcement. Before this, as COO, Chris set the stage for Onyx’s growth by developing modular ISR and kinetic capabilities while forming key partnerships in the industry.

With over 16 years in the U.S. Navy and Air Force, Chris’s background in tactical operations and project management makes him a key asset for protecting interests from boots on the ground to the boardroom. In addition to defense technology innovation, he’s also passionate about veteran mental health, launching a podcast on trauma recovery and working on tech solutions for veterans and first responders. His mix of hands-on experience and fresh ideas makes him a key player in empowering operators and enhancing mission success.

As COO, Bryan Mabry develops the processes and relationships that help Onyx Industries develop the most innovative defense technology in the industry. With over a decade of experience in the U.S. government, Bryan has led programs in the Intelligence Community and the Department of Defense, earning multiple awards for his service. After his government career, he worked as the Director of Special Projects at a Fortune 200 company, where he identified growth opportunities for commercial clients and military special operations. He also served as Acting Vice President of Administration & Finance and CFO for the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).

Bryan Mabry is also the founder and Managing Director of Vehementia, LLC, a strategic advisory firm that helps corporate and national security clients with critical information and due diligence for their strategies and investments.

Eric Shell is the Vice President of Business Development at Onyx Industries, where he drives global sales and business development initiatives, with a focus on NATO and Five Eyes (FVEY) allied markets. With over a decade of experience spanning staffing, financial technology, and security industries, Eric has a proven track record of accelerating growth for startups and scaling businesses in competitive markets.

Since joining Onyx Industries in 2022, Eric has played a pivotal role in crafting and executing go-to-market strategies for the company’s innovative product suite, ensuring successful entry into both defense and commercial sectors. His leadership has contributed to expanding Onyx's footprint across allied defense organizations and positioning its cutting-edge technologies for broader adoption.
