Onyx announced today the launch of VEST V60, a tailored maritime flotation solution designed uniquely to provide Ghost Robotics Vision 60 Quadrupedal Unmanned Ground Vehicle (Q-UGV) with enhanced maritime mobility, flotation, and protection.
Developed specifically to meet the unique design requirements of the Ghost Robotics Vision 60, VEST V60 further enhances the maritime mobility of the Vision 60 by enabling flotation and ensuring that its sensors and payloads stay unobstructed and fully operational during use.
“VEST V60 paired with Onyx's NAUT is a strategic add-on to our family of unmanned systems integrations and mobility products, offering one of the most durable, versatile, and mobile robotics enablement systems on the market,” said Zach Pyle, Onyx CEO.
“Integration of unmanned maritime applications across the global maritime domain is key to mission success. It enables operations in austere environments without risking the integrity of onboard systems or putting humans in harm’s way," said Mike Cadice, Principal at Onyx. “We are thrilled to be able to offer such innovative products for our clients that enhance their operational effectiveness and contribute to mission success.”
In addition to Onyx’s NAUT maritime jet drive and JUMP V60, VEST V60 continues to push the boundaries of what is possible to achieve with the Ghost Robotics Vision 60 Quadrupedal Unmanned Ground Vehicle (Q-UGV) in the multi-domain environment.
